My passion for biology led me to a bachelor’s and master’s degree in botany and ecology. At the same time I became increasingly interested in scientific illustration, which stems from a long-standing interest in drawing. I then entered a Master of Scientific Illustration, which allowed me to sharpen my drawing skills, gain experience in design and layouting, and learn how to communicate scientific ideas to different audiences.

In my studies I have amassed knowledge in various biological subjects from anatomy and medicine, to botany or bryology. I am now comfortable talking with scientists to understand their research. I studied both science and art, and I hope to continue bridging the two worlds.
