After attending the surgical procedure of a ganglion cyst removal in the wrist, I created a flyer aimed to educate patients of what the surgery entails. Along with a small explanation of the cause of the problem and some alternatives to the surgery, it depicts all the surgical steps in a simple vectorized style. The use of illustration for patient education helps to explain a complex procedure, in ways that are understandable and not too gruesome for a large audience.
